UC San Diego: your campus, neighborhood and downtime
Studying around La Jolla / San Diego: organize your campus start and explore your everyday options.
Your base: La Jolla / San Diego
UC San Diego has its own international office. Check arrival appointments, orientation, housing and student-status conditions there. Employment and internships have separate rules.
Around your campus
Start with UC San Diego facilities, libraries and transport information. La Jolla and the coast offer downtime; check access, weather and transport before planning a walk.
Make your week practical
Compare housing distance, class schedules, transport and groceries. Some facilities may be included, but do not assume free access without checking. Use actual quotes in the savings check.
