Choose the atmosphere first: a family outing, dressing up in town or a scary evening. Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights and Disney California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash are separate products with their own admission and rules.
Check the organiser’s calendar for your travel date, age guidance and availability. A regular park ticket does not automatically include a separate evening event. Book through the organiser or an authorised provider.
For a calmer evening, choose a neighbourhood walk, pumpkin activity or family programme. Discover Los Angeles’ event calendar helps compare options by date; then check the organising venue.
Plan the trip back: event ending time, parking, last Metro departure or rideshare pickup point. Include meals, transport and any separate tickets in your budget.
